In June,2018,One of our customer in Pakistan,Karachi,they need the metal tube rotameter for measuring the oxygen.
Their working condition as below:
Pipe:φ70*5,Max. Flow 110m3/h,Mini.flow 10m3/h,working pressure 1.3MPa,working temperature 30℃,the local barometric pressure 0.1MPa.
Our calculation as below:
①Oxygen density:
Under Standard condition:ρ20=1.331kg/m3
Under working condition:ρ1=ρ20*(P1T20/PNT1Z)=1.331*{(1.3+0.1)*(27*+20)/[0.1013*(27*+30)*0.992]}=17.93kg/m3
②Real Flow:
QS=Q20ρ20/ρ
QSmax=Q20maxρ20/ρ1=110*1.331/17.93=8.166
QSmin=Q20minρ20/ρ1=10*1.331/17.93=0.742
③The metal tube rotameter real working condition formula:
QNmax=QSmax/0.2696=8.166/0.2696=30.29
QNmin=QSmax/0.2696=0.742/0.2696=2.75
